Terms and Conditions for the use of SAQI logo

The SAQI logo is a valuable symbol of the quality brand in South Africa, and this Institute, together with its members, are its custodians.

It is therefore our joint responsibility to protect this logo in the following ways:

1. The logo may be used by SAQI members on letterheads, business cards, tenders, reports and presentations.
2. The SAQI logo may not be used to endorse products without SAQI's written permission, failure to observe this could lead to legal action.
3. It may only be used in the SAQI design and colours, i.e. green and gold. Colours and aspect ratio may not be changed.
4. The SAQI logo may not be used as an endorsement of awards, conferences, training material etc. unless SAQI has been part of the assessment and planning process. For example SAQI was one of the adjudicators of the Proudly South African Homegrown awards and took part in the awards ceremony during April 2006.
5. On receipt of this signed agreement, you will be issued with a unique authorisation code to use the SAQI logo. This number should be safeguarded for future reference, and will only be valid for the duration of your SAQI membership.

The South African Quality Institute is the national body promoting quality awareness in all sectors of the economy including industry, government, education and especially in small enterprise.

The basket weave design that is part of SAQI's corporate branding, symbolises the way Quality is the underlying strength of the economic and social fabric of this land.

Basket weaving is an ancient and respected handcraft that has come down the ages not only in Africa but also in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Quality, like basket weaving, is understood across the world and is today a common denominator for successful trading.
